The converter allows you to monitor SMPTE 2110 IP camera signals with up to UHD 4K resolution with audio on an HDMI display. Conforms to the SMPTE‑2110 IP Video Standard

Blackmagic 2110 IP products conform to the SMPTE-2110 standard, which specifies the transport, synchronization and description of 10-bit video, audio and ancillary data over managed IP broadcast networks. They can re-sync SDI inputs to a common PTP clock, or external gear can lock to the reference output generated from the PTP clock. Supported standards include SMPTE-2110-20 for uncompressed video, SMPTE-2110-21 for traffic shaping, SMPTE-2110-30 for audio, SMPTE-2110-40 for ancillary data and many models support SMPTE-2022-7 for seamless redundancy.
