MAVO mark2 6K LF: Cinematic Large-Format Performance

Combining a high-performance processor with the same full-frame 3:2 CMOS image sensor found in the MAVO Edge 6K, the MAVO mark2 6K LF Digital Cinema Camera from Kinefinity offers high 6K frame rates up to 86 fps, detailed highlights, organic images, and outstanding low-light performance with dual native 800/5120 ISOs. Please note that this camera body does not come with a lens mount.

CMOS Image Sensor

Combines a 3:2 full-frame CMOS image sensor and advanced processing.
Captures organic, cine-style images with increased highlight details and low noise.
High frame rate options include up to 6K86 for creating beautiful slow-motion sequences.
Kine LOG3 gamma recording preserves the complete dynamic range captured by the sensor.

Separately Available Lens Mounts

The durable, separately available KineMOUNT can be quickly adapted for use with E, EF, PL, and LPL adapters.
Provides electronic and manual focus, iris, and zoom control for compatible lenses.

Compatible with cine-style, EF-mount, and electronic Sony E-mount lenses and more using adapters.
The separately available, durable KineMOUNT can be quickly adapted for use with EF, PL, and LPL adapters.
Use the MAVO mark2 LF with the new active Pl and Sony E-mounts to add electronic control when using compatible lenses.
The separately available active lens mounts support focus, iris, zoom, and image stabilization functions.
The separately available active Sony E-mount supports lens metadata display and transfer, as does the active PL mount (Cooke/i technology).

Lightweight, Integrated Body

The compact MAVO 6K LF body weighs just over 3 lb / 1.36 KG, suiting it for handheld and gimbal use.
Interfaces include two proprietary video outputs, one HD video output, and a control port.
The MAVO mark2 LF offers multichannel audio recording, an RS-232 port, and an RS power/trigger port.
A hybrid battery plate supports both 14.8V V-mount and smaller BP-U batteries.

Advanced Processing

High-performance computing provides advanced color processing and better highlight performance.
Greater storage bandwidth enables Apple ProRes 4444/XQ clips to be recorded to KineMAG Nano SSDs.
Upload custom 3D LUTs or use the Rec.709 neutral in-camera LUT.

Frame Rate and Resolution Options

The MAVO mark2 LF offers Apple ProRes recording options ranging from 422LT to 4444XQ.
Full frame rate and resolution options are available at rates up to 6K in 4444XQ.
These ProRes codecs speed up your workflow, saving significant time in post-production.
Set the Raw cDNG compression ratio to 3:1, 5:1, or 7:1 for DaVinci Resolve compatibility.

Full-Frame Anamorphic

The MAVO mark2 LF provides a large, full-frame canvas ideal for anamorphic images.
Offers both 4:3 5120 x 3700 or 6:5 4608 x 3700 anamorphic modes.
Images are de-squeezed in the camera to a 65mm format when using full-frame anamorphic lenses.

Flexible Recording Media

Record using the proprietary 1TB or 2TB KineMAGs with read-only and RAID 5 safety features.
Use the KineMAG Nano Body to record to third-party NVMe M.2 2280 SSDs.

Accessory Options

The MAVO mark2 LF is compatible with Kinefinity TERRA accessories.
An OLED viewfinder, 5 or 7" monitor, and SideGrip are available separately.
Use with the separately available KineBACK-W to add dual 3G-SDI, dual XLR audio, timecode, sync, and additional interfaces.
